The Mexican Mule
This earthy, herbal twist on the classic Moscow Mule is pure Mexico!
Jalapeño and ginger bring the heat and orange liqueur adds the sweetness.
Perfect for an icy copper mug.
When I first saw this recipe, I was expecting it to be made with tequila.
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounce orange liqueur
- 1/2 ounce ginger liqueur
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 3 ounces ginger beer
- 4 sprigs cilantro
- 1 slice jalapeño, seeded
Muddle cilantro and jalapeño in a shaker. Add crushed ice, vodka, orange and ginger liqueurs, and lime juice. Shake until fully mixed and chilled. Strain into copper mug or rocks glass with ice and top with ginger beer. ¡Salud!
