Something amazing has grown in Dillon Town Park. Millions of pounds of ice transformed into a magical castle with tunnels and hidden chambers to explore. Spires of ice reaching to the sky. Ice slides zipping through tunnels of ice.
One usually thinks of a hot springs as a great stop after a day of skiing. We recently took a trip to Iron Mountain Hot Springs, Glenwood Springs, CO. Yes, it was summertime, but Debbie’s daughter and granddaughter were visiting from Florida and we wanted to check it out.
Iron Mountain Hot Springs opened in August of 2015. We came across their booth while at a travel show in Denver this past spring. Having previously visited the famous old pool at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort many times, we were excited about a new hot springs opening.
